imageGermany Class have just begun setting up a link with a primary school in a place called Herzfeld, which is part of Lippetal, a village about forty miles from Dortmund in Germany. The school is called St Ida Grundschule. It is in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. The children attend the school for four years from the age of 6 and leave at the age of 10. The class we will be corresponding with is Form 4 and their teacher is Herr Wordenweber.

imageAbout 13km from the school is a town called Soest. It has some beautiful historic buildings and is surrounded by an ancient wall.
